Adding a manual transaction
For cash, for an account you have not linked, or for anything the bank simply did not report.
Add a transaction manually when something is missing, was paid in cash, or happened on an account that is not linked through a bank. Manual transactions keep your forecast and spending records honest.
- Enter the amount, date, merchant or name, and category.
- Set whether it is income or an expense.
- Manual transactions can be matched to forecast items exactly like synced ones.
Watch for duplicates
If the bank transaction may still sync later, wait rather than adding it by hand. Two copies of the same purchase distort both your plan and your Insights.
