Adding property, vehicles, and manual accounts
Everything you own or owe that no bank reports, so your net worth is your whole picture and not just your cash.
Manual items are how Seed reflects the parts of your financial life that no bank connection can see.
- Property, added with an address, which can pull an estimated home value from a valuation provider.
- Vehicles, valued by VIN or by make, model, and year.
- Physical assets and products you own.
- Manual accounts that are not linked through Plaid.
- Manual debts.
Each property has a detail screen showing its estimated value. Estimates are approximations from third-party data, not appraisals.
Deleting a manual item changes history
Removing a manual asset, liability, goal, or account means Seed may no longer include it in net worth, Insights, or Gardener's answers.
