Disconnecting a linked account

Stopping the sync, what happens to the data already there, and what it does to your net worth.

Disconnecting a linked account stops future syncing for that account. New transactions and balance updates stop arriving from that institution.

You can also revoke Seed's access from your bank's own security settings, which achieves the same thing from the other direction.

Removing data affects more than one screen

Deleting or removing items can change net worth, forecasts, Insights, history, and the answers Gardener gives. If you only want the sync to stop, disconnect rather than delete.
