Building your first monthly forecast
The Forecast page is where you plan income and expenses for a month, then watch real transactions fill the plan in.
Seed plans before the money moves. The Forecast page is where you lay out the month: what is coming in, what is going out, and what is already committed.
Add your first items
- 1Open the Forecast page and tap Add Item.
- 2Give the item a name and an amount.
- 3Pick a category and a classification: income, expense, or transfer.
- 4Set the due date.
- 5Set Repeat to Never, Monthly, or Yearly.
Start with the things you already know: your paycheck, rent or mortgage, utilities, loan payments, subscriptions, and a realistic figure for groceries. Each item shows a progress bar that fills as real transactions are matched to it, so the plan turns into a live picture of the month rather than a static budget.
A broad plan scores better
Seed Score rewards a diversified plan of up to five distinct, meaningful expense categories. There is no required category, so the plan stays fair whether or not you have a car, debt, or dependents.
You can switch months at any time to review a past plan or get a future month ready.
