Seed can require Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode when the app opens, so your financial data stays protected even when someone else is holding your phone.
The setting lives in your profile and security settings. Once enabled, the lock applies on a cold start as well as when returning after a period of inactivity, not just the first launch after you turn it on.
Worth turning on
This is the single highest-value security setting in the app for most people, and it takes one tap.
