About the role
You'll own the services, infrastructure, and reliability practices behind the product. Security and privacy are core to this role: we handle sensitive financial data and hold ourselves to a high bar. You'll help us keep it that way as we grow.
What you'll do
- Build and operate the backend services that power the product.
- Own reliability, observability, and performance across our platform.
- Champion security and privacy best practices in everything we ship.
- Improve our automation, deployments, and developer workflow.
- Help mature our controls and processes as we scale.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years in backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong TypeScript/Node experience building production services.
- Solid grounding in security fundamentals and multi-tenant data isolation.
- Experience running reliable services in the cloud.
- A calm, methodical approach to sensitive systems.
Nice to have
- Exposure to SOC 2 / ISO 27001 style controls and audits.
- Experience with data privacy engineering and compliance workflows.
